Rajesh Khanna’s come back in a B-grade film |
|
Sexagenarian actor, Rajesh Khanna is ready to romance a 20-year-old girl. The superhit hero of 60s and 70s and the veteran actor Rajesh Khanna is trying to enter into Bollywood again. A few years ago, he was cast in Akshay Khanna and Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Aa Ab Laut Chale’, but the film had made a disastrous entry in the box office. Now he is signing a number of projects. One of them is Rakesh Sawant’s directed ‘Wafaa’. Rakesh Sawant, the brother of item number queen Rakhi Sawant, has made another B-grade film, ‘Hot Money’ in past days. ‘Wafaa’ is certified as ‘A’ by the Cencor Board. ‘Wafaa’ is a story of a rich old man, played by Rajesh Khanna, who marries a young airhostess, played by Pakistani actress Saara Khan, who in turn marries the millionaire not for love but for his wealth. Like any other B-grade film, an extra marital affair is also an integral part of ‘Wafaa’. On the other hand, Rajesh Khanna has no prejudice of romancing a 20-year-old girl on-screen. He perceives it as professionalism. He thinks romancing a young girl is totally justified when it is demanded by the script. In the words of Rajesh Khanna, “Wafaa’ is not a sex flick but a mature love story with strange twists.”
