Movie- Ek Vivaah... Aisa Bhi |
|
Starring Director- Kaushik Ghatak Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi is such a film which takes you in your past days. It is not about a meaty love relationship; rather it’s a tale of platonic love. After all, it’s a Rajshree Films’ production. It’s a simple love story with a unique story line. It’s about love, sacrifices, and family values. Prem and Chandni played by Sonu Sood and Eesha Koppikhar met in a musical program and fell in love with each other. Chandni belonged to a poor family with an old father and two school-going siblings while Prem came of a rich family. Breaking the barriers of this disparity, they were about to tie the holy knot. But here destiny took a strange turn. Chandni’s father, played by Alok Nath died just one day before their engagement. Chandni came to know about the intentions of her greedy uncle, who wanted to take over their house once Chandni had left the house after her marriage. Chandni could not leave her siblings to suffer. She preferred duty over love. She decided to postpone her marriage to bring up her brother and sister. Prem was free to marry another woman but he too waited for his love. He had been the moral support of Chandni for this period of time. Chandni married off her brother but her brother and sister-in-law left the house in spite of her brother unwillingness. They returned home on the occasion of their sister’s wedding. Now Chandni’s family problems were solved. What would happen to Chandni and Prem, their love, and their sacrifices of nine good years? Well, if you want to know what happened to these two lovers, go- watch the film. It’s worth it. Producer Sooraj R. Barjatya proved himself once again to be a family loving man. Debutant director Kaushik Ghatak is simple in telling the story. Eesha Koppikhar excels in a non-glamorous girl-next-door role. Sonu Sood has justified the legendary character of Prem. Music is an integral part of the story. More over, this film will bring your emotions out of yourself that you might not help weeping many a times watching this flick.
