Bollywood hottie Mallika Sherawat had been shooting for Hisss, a film directed by Jennifer Lynch, daughter of American filmmaker, David Lynch and produced by her brother. In this film she is playing the character of a snake woman, who can change herself into a woman, and then again transform into a half-snake and half-woman form. Reportedly the actress does not have one single dialogue in this film. As the script resolves around a snake woman, it demands for a jungly backdrop. The crew had been thus shooting at Thekkady in the outskirts of Kerala, in the background of jungles and backwaters with plenty of insects and creepy creatures like leeches.

According to the sources, Mallika found it very difficult shooting in such an adverse condition. Firstly, Mallika had to wear her snake suit all the time, thereby she could not move any part of her body and was carried by the unit members. Secondly, she got beaten by dangerous insects. It was very common that leeches would suck the blood of the actress and as being immobile she could not throw it away. Thirdly, she got a bad fever in the jungle of Kerala. But as she is a firm believer of yoga and ayurbed, she did not allow any allopathic medicine to cure her fever. She kept on shooting with fever and without any medicine.

Now the actress is in Mumbai and guess what? Her condition gets worse. She is literally bed-ridden due to over-exhaustion. She was advised to take complete bed rest for couple of days. Well, Mallika we are simply amazed seeing your dedication.
