Remember Jiya Khan? She is the ‘Nishabd’ girl, who was paired opposite of Big B in this experimental film of Ram Gopal Varma. Since then she was missing from the glam light of the Tinsel town. Now she is back again with none other than the perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan. She can be seen sharing the screen with Aamir Khan in his ‘Ghajini’. Apart form Jiya, there will be south star Asin in this film.

There were buzz that Jiya has got the role by some recommendation. But the actress herself clarifies it to the tabloid, “Aamir told my mother that if I was a part of 'Ghajini' it was because of my own achievement and talent. It was the best compliment I have received, that too from the best actor of the country - Aamir Khan. What more could I ask for?”

Believe it or not, Jiya had to go through a complete audition for the role. But Aamir Khan and the director immediately okayed her for the role. When she first came to know about her selection she could not believe that she has made it finally. She shares the moment with the media, “When Aamir and the director told me I was in, I couldn't believe it! I was in tears and overwhelmed.”

On the one hand, Aamir is all about praising words for Jiya. Recently, he has told Jiya’s mother that Jiya has bagged the role because she was the most deserving applicant for the role. Jiya was cast in an uncanny role in Nishabd, who fell is love with a 60-year-old man while the sources say that her role in Ghajini is also full of surprises, where she is playing an unconventional heroine.

Ghajini will be released in the Christmas time.
