Actor Salman was unhappy with his director, Subhas Ghai’s suggestion about his hair. The duo was busy with the shooting of the big budget flick Yuvvraaj, in which Salman is playing the character of a musician, Deven Yuvvraaj. International designer, Ashley Rebello had been hired to give the perfect looks to the actors of the flick. Salman will appear in three different looks in the movie. Young Yuvraj will be seen in jackets and shirts along with jeans to give a young flavour in it. In the second stage, Yuvraj is a rebel, thus will be seen in Italian attires with lots of Italian caps. In the third stage, he transforms into a calm person, therefore Ashley gives him a royal look with long suits and tuxedos.

After Kisna, a box office disaster, Yuvvraaj is the only hope for Subhas Ghai. And so he wants everything to be perfect in the film. Earlier, we have heard about the Subhas Ghai- A.R Rahman rift. There was a buzz that Subhas Ghai did not like the compositions of A.R Rahman and accused the composer not to devote his full time to Yuvvraaj. Later on Mr Ghai himself denied this. Later Subhas Ghai wanted to experiment with the looks of the leading hero of Yuvvraaj, Salman Khan. According to the sources, Ghai superimposed various hairstyles on the stills of Salman to determine which look would suit the star best, but failed to come into any conclusion until the first schedule of shooting in Austria. He asked Salman to dye his hair blonde for the older phase of the life of Deven Yuvvraaj. On the other hand, Salman Khan, who is very possessive about his hairdos, initially rejected Ghai’s proposal.

Not only that, when Salman Khan did not turn up in the shooting on the very day, Ghai thought that he might offended the superstar that much that Salman had decided not to turn up on the sets. But on that moment Ghai saw Salman Khan, turning up with his new blonde look.

Yuvvraaj will hit the theatres on the coming Friday.
