Ghai’s Yuvvraaj might be delayed

Subhas Ghai’s upcoming flick Yuvvraaj might be delayed for distribution hassles. According to the sources, Eros International was set to distribute the film but at the eleventh hour, Eros International gave all the distribution rights of the big budget film to Shri Ashtavinayak for Rs 30 crores. On the other hand Shri Ashtavinayak has failed to pay the entire amount and only managed Rs 18 crores. This brightens the possibility of Yuvvraaj’s postponement.

Earlier during the shooting of the movie, many controversies surrounded Yuvvraaj. Firstly, it was the friction between Salman Khan and Shasrukh Khan. Salman Khan was reportedly very unpleased about Shahrukh Khan’s own production house, Red Chillies SFX team’s association with Yuvvraaj team. Secondly, Subhas Ghai and A. R Rahman disagreement over the music of the movie caught much public attention. According to the rumours, Subhai Ghai wanted Mr Rahman would create the same magic of Taal in this film. But sources revealed that Mr. Ghai was not happy with the music of Yuvvraaj and he even complained that Mr. Rahman was indifferent towards Yuvvraaj and was not giving the required time to the music of Yuvvraaj. However, this seems to be only a rumour because Mr Ghai himself was spotted praising Mr. Rahman for his work in Yuvvraaj. Thirdly, Mr. Ghai was unhappy regarding the editing of the film. Thus he replaced his editor with Rock On and Taare Zameen Par famed Deepa Bhatia to finely edit Yuvvraaj.

Yuvvraaj stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif , Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan

The movie was supposed to hit the theatres on November 21. Let’s see, whether the showman can overcome this latest hurdle or not.
