There happens to be the use of a variety of methods that is comprised of painting, sculpting, or illustration—and an assortment of materials, including oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, pencils, pen and ink, plaster, clay, and computers. Depending on the nature of work or simply even on whims of the artists the works may be or tend to be realistic, stylized, or abstract and in due course may depict objects, people, nature, or events. However, earning a living as an artist is a dream job for many people because they get to spend their days being creative, and it is also requisite since without the manner of proper maintenance the can hardly be any such endeavor left in the future so as to dedicate themselves day in and day out. But it is also true, as the general trend is since many days, a large number of artists are self-employed. This unique notion makes the profession even more appealing, but it is to be noted that the competition for both salaried and freelance work is tough. It is a generally accepted concept, that the Art students have a large spectrum of options in front of them, that extends from the realm of working in art studios, advertising companies, publishing houses, fashion houses etc. There are also many artists who do work in fine- or commercial-art studios that are located in the office buildings, warehouses, or loft while others prefer to work in private studios that are generally in their homes. Some fine artists share studio space, where they also may exhibit their work. Posted by subhasis on Thursday Jul 05 reply Comments |
