For last couple of years, Abhishek Bachachan failed to give one single box office hit. His last hit film was Mani Ratnam’s Guru. Since then he has been experiencing the effects of consecutive flops. His latest flick Drona was bombed at the box office. Soon after this, his pa, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to hospital for a several stomach ache. After Big B recuperated from his illness, Abhishek and Aishwarya got back to their work in down Kerala for Mani Ratnam’s next venture. While Big B is in holiday in Udaipur, his son has a high fever down south. He wrote in his blog, “My heart and mind are in the remote jungles of Kerala where he shoots. You can stand anything…you just cannot stand to see your kid in trouble. Just cannot”.

However both Abhishek and Aishwarya are shooting for their next film days and nights to make up the losses of two weeks. For Ash, she could not celebrate her birthday for her busy schedule and now Abhishek catches a terrible cold. Both the stars need rest but can not have.

Abhishek’s dwindling filmoghaph suggests that he badly needs a box office hit. After Drona, his only hope is surrounded with Karan Johar’s Doatana. If Dostana gets clicked in the box office, he would have some sign of relief. But if not, Abhshek is in real trouble. He will have to contest Shahrukh Khan. His forthcoming film Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s Dilli 6 will be released at the time of Valentine’s day, on the same day when King Khan’s Billoo Barber will hit the theatres. AB baby reportedly wanted to postpone the date, but as the examination season will be knocking at the door, the director and UTV production house would not take a chance. 

Well, we only wish Dostana a very good luck, else you will have to face a tough competition Abhi.
