Teaching is regarded as one of the noblest professions from the dawn of the human civilization. In any age, whatever may be the state structure the teachers have always been held in high esteem and perceived to be the conscience of the aggrieved humanity. Even in the modern age there happens to be the same high respect, though it must be accepted at the same time that aberration do take place. But when I am speaking of education, it has always been a challenging job on my part to teach the children. However, I do know that there happens to be mere serious and difficult job when anyone tries to effectively reach an autistic child with a learning disability. However, as far as the experiences of the proficient persons in this very discipline go, that teaching or educating the autistic children is not so difficult task as is assumed if the teacher tries to religiously follow the requisite guideline or mere tips. It hardly matters who you are. You may be the parent of the hapless child who home schools your child or a teacher with an autistic student in class. The first and foremost thing that should be given the greatest concern is that children who suffer from autism are more often than not reluctant to accept any form of change, of whatever magnitude in their lives. Being of a stiff mindset they have a propensity to fight the impending change from the other side energetically, and so for that reason it is important to have a well-established routine regarding the teaching methods. If you are a teacher in a classroom, then you without a doubt already have an established routine. Please make it a point there should not be any such modification of the schedule if at all possible, whether for convenience or other reasons. The entire learning environment, the one in which you teach an autistic child should be uncomplicated and simple at best. The distracting visual images in the teaching area must be avoided unless they are relevant to the lesson at hand. Education is noble profession but teaching an autistic child is a nobler cause.
