SELLING NEWS National Women Commission, National Human Rights Commission and Union ministry for child Development should all take cognizance of stripping of a girl-child by her school-teacher in Delhi . It is indeed unfortunate that the erring teen-aged undergraduate teacher could find an easy bail after her formal arrest for the offence. It is not proper that almost all TV news-channels ran the news as lead-story continuously for two days on Saturday and Sunday perhaps these channels smelt some attraction in the horrible story for purpose of news-selling. Otherwise normally such news-items are telecast for one day only. At least no picture of the victim even with shaded face should have been shown.
