Malay Indians lack awareness of ETP benefits, says Razak |

Kuala Lumpur, Apr 24ANI: Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has said that there is a lack of awareness among the country's Indian community of the potential benefits they can receive from the government's Economic Transformation Programme ETP. Razak said that although the Indians were supportive of the programme, they were not excited about it as they did not realize that they could benefit directly from the new jobs, business opportunities and better incomes that the ETP would bring. "We need the help of Indian leaders and organizations to explain to the Indians how they can benefit," the Star quoted Razak, as saying.
