No way to save skin (22-07-08)

Are you an MP? Have you got any lucrative offer from any of the bellicose groups in the national capital? No? You must be lying! If you are not rush to New Delhi and roam for a while in its streets. Within minutes you will be approached by one of them. Don’t worry! You will be provided all facilities but against one condition. You will have to vote for them on the magic day of 22 July!

This is the picture of the national capital at present where everything is on sale! All including the MPs, their values, the confidence of the populace of the nation and the dignity of the Parliament, the highest body of Indian democracy. Perhaps the founding fathers of Indian democracy had not ever thought that within 60 years of independence the democratic atmosphere of the country would reach the bottom. If you merely compare the parliaments of the first two decades following independence with the present you will be ashamed on yourself. It may be that we are fools for confiding too much on this center of democracy which has become a talking shop and under the influence of mongers. Even the bookies are entering the spectrum to fish in the muddy water! What a shame!

Whom can you blame? Which political party? All of them are in the same boat and sailor is Mr. Lust! This single notion for the sake of money, power and other unknown reasons has made all of us vulnerable. The MPs are representing these degrading environs and we are being taken for a ride.

There is no other way out to save ourselves from this bane.

Will you go for a revolt?
