Pyongyang, May 30 ANI: North Korea is close to completing a giant naval base for "attack hovercraft" near its sea border with South Korea, a government source has revealed. The base can maintain 60 air-cushioned vessels that could be used for infiltration attacks and landing, Telegraph reports. According to sources, South Korea has "spotted air-cushioned vessels and hangar-shaped buildings," at the North's Hwanghae Province, about 30 miles from the South Korean island of Baengnyeong. In November last year two South Korean marines and two civilians were killed after North Korean artillery shelled Yeonpyeong island. ANI Posted by aniin on Tuesday May 31 reply Comments |
