Authorities yet to develop joint mechanism for PNS Mehran probe |

Karachi, May 30ANI: Authorities in Pakistan are yet to develop a mechanism for investigating the PNS Mehran Base attack that claimed ten lives. The authorities are yet to choose representatives from various agencies to take part in the probe ordered by the government in Sindh province. The Sindh government notified initiation of the probe involving at least eight security agencies on the Interior Ministry's directions, The Nation reports. While the police has recorded the statements of injured personnel and determined the number of attackers, a forensic report has revealed the weapons used by terrorists were Russian-made.
