SC ON ILLEGAL COLONIES It refers to unusual heated exchange of words between Additional Solicitor General Vikas Singh representing Central Government, and bench-member/s of the Apex Court hearing sealing-operation on commercial establishments in residential colonies of Delhi . Central government is shedding crocodile tears on difficulties faced due to sealing-operation because it has failed to take any practical and concrete decision on 1500 unauthorised colonies of the Capital. Apex Court is justified in its stand that the sealing-order will continue on unauthorised colonies also till government recognises these colonies and that too as commercial areas. If some activities are illegal in authorised residential colonies, illegality rather compounds because of activities held illegal being going on illegal colonies.
