NAT19National/CrimeAll employees of bank branch accused of fake currency racketGhaziabad Uttar Pradesh, Sep 25 IANS A criminal complaint was Thursday registered against all employees of an Oriental Bank of Commerce OBC branch in Ghaziabad town of Uttar Pradesh, where counterfeit currency worth Rs.149,100 was found, police said.Senior Superintendent of police L. Ravi Kumar told IANS that a Reserve Bank of India RBI team found fake currency worth Rs.149,100 in the Kavi Nagar branch of OBC during an inspection.Ramesh Prakash, chief manager of OBC, lodged a complaint against the entire staff of the bank branch in the Kavi Nagar police station.In his complaint, Prakash said all 33 employees of the branch were found guilty of the transaction of counterfeit currency.
