Champions League final: Man U ready for Barca's 'dirty tricks'

London, May 25 ANI: Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has said that his side is ready for Barcelona's "dirty tricks" in the May 28 Champions League final. Despite being widely billed as the greatest club team of the modern era, Barcelona's reputation has been dented by the stormy Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid earlier this month. On that occasion there were 11 yellow and two red cards to the two teams over both legs. Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets also earned condemnation last season for his part in the dismissal of Inter Milan's Thiago Motta during the semi-final defeat against Jose Mourinho's team. But despite Barcelona's growing reputation for play-acting, United captain Vidic claims that Sir Alex Ferguson's players can cope with whatever they face against Pep Guardiola's team on Saturday. "Obviously, their players have a different mentality to us," Vidic said. He added: "We have to focus and concentrate and then it won't be a big deal to handle the things that we know will come. But it won't be a problem to deal with these things. They may do things and argue more than they should do, but it won't affect us." ANI
