An Innovative Vista

It is very difficult to ascertain when from the menace of censorship under the whim of the governmental machiney has been going on. Truly speaking, it has been found time and again that since time immemorial there has been a continuous bitter relation between the State and the inependent aspirations of the field of art and literature. While the exponents of this discipline have through their works always tried to ascertain the common citizens over the real intention behind the so called benevolenet tasks, the government irrespective of its ideological affiliation has stepped in to nip all thoughts of protest in the bud. Be it in the form of religious discourses, or of established polical thoughts to the proponents those have long ceased to symbolize the common people. However, it is to be noted that the standoff between creativity and intolerance is not a new concpet but whenevr they do occur there takes palce a hue and cry. To be very precise, whenever the society is pluralistc or a melting pot of an assotrtment of cultures, ethncities, religions and even languages there must be the effective position of diverse interpretations of art and culture and should also be eloquently debated in the different echelons of the society. The expected situation being thus there is a need of critical acclamation that is surely going to ignite the passion of the votaries of culture and innovative notions.

On the contrary these free voices are greatly undermined in the recent years, be it in the US, Iraq, India and other countries of repute in the name of curbing for the interset of the State by simply censoring. But other the goverment there have been the development of sevaral power centres who being the self-claimd custodians of the people at large impose sanction or simply censorship for the preservation of the sanctity of a 'definite' subject. The new voices backed by the administrative encouragement have been found defying the democratic ethos and reasonable restraint expected from a secular pluralistic society at the top frequency and decibel.
